World War III - West German: SPz 12-3 Lang Transports

The Schützenpanzer (or SPz) 12-3 Lang (HS.30) infantry fighting vehicle was originally going to be the Army’s main mount for their Panzergrenadiers when it was introduced in 1960, but it was soon found to have a variety of problems that led to the development of the Marder. However, it is well armoured and armed, but is not as mobile as the Marder. The Lang (long) in its name is to identify it from the Schützenpanzer 11-2 Kurz (short) used for reconnaissance and fire support.
