Flames Of War - German: Panther (Late) Tank Platoon

The Panther G is the latest model of the famed Panther tank. The new model has thicker armour and retains the long-barrelled 7.5cm KwK42 gun, which can still penetrate any Allied tank in existence. The balance of an excellent gun, good armour, and good mobility makes the Panther one of the best tanks of the war.

The range and armour of the Jagdpanther outclassed most tanks the enemy could field. When used with proper tank-hunter tactics, they could crush any enemy armour thrusts. With the enemy tanks at an extreme disadvantage, the task of dealing with the Jagdpanther often fell to the Allied fighter-bombers and infantry.
