World War III - Nordic Forces: Armoured Rifle Platoon

The Swedish Pansarskyttepluton (armoured rifle platoon) consists of a command group; three skyttegrupper (shooting groups); as well as a granatgevärsgrupp (grenade launcher group). A skyttegrupp consists of eight men. The granatgevärsgrupp are armed with three Granatgevär m/48, (Grg m/48 – “grenade rifle”, model 1948, the 84mm Carl Gustav recoilless rifle).
Each Skyttegrupp is usually assigned four P-skott m/68 (74mm Miniman) disposible anti-tank weapons. Some units have been issued the new P-skott m/86 (84mm AT-4) anti-tank weapon. These are distributed so that within the group there are both anti-tank soldiers and AK4 (Swedish produced G3) riflemen, as well as the Ksp-58 (Swedish produced FN-MAG) machine-gun team.
