The Silver Bayonet - Wendigo

The Wendigo is a malevolent spirit said to inhabit those to have engaged in cannibalism or other such despicable acts. The afflicted experience a ravenous and insatiable hunger that can never actually be sated, as they grow more gaunt and emaciated no matter what and how much they eat. They instead grow proportionally to the victims they consume and can become towering monstrosities of sinew and talons that will commit ever escalating atrocities until they are destroyed to try to sate their endless obsession with feeding.
