World War III - British: Chieftain Armoured Troop

When it entered service in 1966, the Chieftain was a behemoth capable of overpowering any tank in existence. It is still a tough opponent, despite twenty years of evolution in tank design. This evolution has not passed the Chieftain by. The front of its turret now bears a layer of ‘Stillbrew’ armour, maintaining its edge as one of the best protected tanks in the world.

The massive rifled 120mm gun has also withstood the test of time. It uses a separate charge and round which allowed more ammunition to be carried, with less chance of the tank ‘brewing up’ when hit. Firing the latest anti-tank rounds, it can penetrate any Warsaw Pact tank in existence at long range, while its HESH (High Explosive Squash Head) rounds are extremely deadly against troops in buildings and bunkers.
