World War III - Soviet: TOS-1 Thermobaric Rocket Launcher Battery

Built on a T-72 chassis, the TOS-1 or “Buratino” has exceptional mobility and protection, combined with twenty-four 220mm thermobaric rockets.

With a range of 3500m the TOS-1 can fire its entire payload of thermobaric warheads in twelve seconds, creating an inferno that ignores defensive structures. A single TOS-1 can effect the complete destruction of a 600m by 400m area, and is capable of destroying an entire NATO company in defensive positions.

With a crew of three, the TOS-1 requires the support of an ammunition vehicle with a crane to reload the 220mm rockets.
